Much hilarity was had with R.C. Weslowski as our feature. He performed several more recent pieces of redemption and bewilderment. Barbara Adler, the host for the evening, went out of her way to break her addiction to the word ‘Awesome’ by having audience members submit other positive adjectives into a jar for her to use. Good times were had by all.

As for the competition, Scruffmouth finished first, beating Spillious by one-tenth of a point. Lisa Slater was third, Jill Binder was fourth, Shannon Rayne was fifth, and Sean McGarragle was sixth. The scores for the top three finishing poets will be added to the ‘Standings’ page, accessible from the site map on the far right sidebar.
