Our Poets

The success of this program is largely due to our outstanding pool of dedicated and talented poets. Their wide variety of backgrounds and performance styles allows WordPlay to tailor each workshop experience to the needs of participants.

They are teachers, small-press publishers, radio djs, novelists, editors, musicians, and social workers. They have won slams nationally and internationally, published children’s books, toured the world, performed on the Eiffel tower, attended countless festivals, and won three-day novel writing contests.

They are (mostly) all very friendly. Lots of them have web and myspace pages. All of them would be thrilled if you decided to say hi.
