"Aortic Moon" by Sean McGarragle
You doctor the skies with grace
Fickle sun
You are nothing more than groundhog holes
Aortic Moon
Coagulated mystery
My tongue rolls your purgatory sand
Aortic Moon
You are good from far but far from good
You'd steal my last breath if you could
Turn me into David
You Medusa, are the true Helen
A thousand ships...
Find me one who has not suffered;
Become cacti
In a mini mall; on a mountain; in a space shuttle
because of your scalpel stare
It's you who put the shhhhhhhhh....
In the pre-mature nursery of our minds.
