On February 15th, for our second from last "regular season" slam (the second from last chance you have to get points towards qualifying for playoffs) we have Calgary Star Slam poet, Jen Kunlire.
Jen Kunlire is a 2 -time member of the Calgary Slam Team, Regional winner of the 2009 CBC Poetry Face-off, youth board member of the Writer's Guild Of Alberta and regional rep for Spoken Word Canada.
Just off the vibes of her debut launch of New World Orderly Guidance; a note to self & accompanied chapbook, an epic piece of 27 minutes of pure fiya !
Also an advocate of community, teaching and working with theyouth, landed Immigrants and persons with disabilities , she has her hand in a bit of everything ....
But beyond the labels stated above, Jen is a down to earth being who's aim in life is to spread the vibes of love, truth, valour and compassion...

Again, this is the second from last time you can qualify for points towards a playoff spot and this year we won't be having a last vchance slam per see. We'll be having a wildcard slam where the top 12 poets not yet in playoffs will compete for the last two playoff spots.
