Summer Dreams Literary Arts Festival
« on: May 16, 2008, 12:46:02 PM »
Pandora's Collective are working their butts off once again to put on their annual, one day lit fest.

It's happening Saturday July 26th at Lumberman's Arch in Stanley Park.  It's a rain or shine event (as anyone who was there last year can attest to) with a Main Stage, a Children's Stage, poetry workshops, open mics and so on.

The Vancouver Poetry Slam has been given a 15 minute slot from 6pm-6:15 on the Main Stage.  We need 2 poets to share that time.

If you want to do it let me know in the next couple of weeks.  604 215 9230 or
weslowhiskey@direct.ca

Thanks,

Randy ;D

We also have a PoHouse table booked. I'll be there all day to people it. If anyone would like to help hang out and talk to people about Pohouse for any part of the day, just let me know.

We now have 1 poet booked for the Van Slam portion of the day.  Emily Snee, one of our Youth Slam regulars will be reading.  We still need one other poet to participate.  The slam has 15 minutes from 6-6:15pm on Saturday July 26th.

If you are interested let me know.  You'd get to do 2 slam length poems.
