These are the 11 teams that will be competing along with a last chance team at cfsw this year.

Do you know if there is still going to be a wild card team made up of poets competing in a "last chance slam?"

And do you happen to know the format for the bouts? How many teams in each one?

From what Sean's mentioned, there will definitely be a wild card team.

UPDATE: I found this on the CFSW website under Rules:

"13) Rotation
Each of the 12 teams (where a team is made up of four poets whom have competed and won a spot on said team) will enjoy two qualifying bouts, where each bout will be made up of 6 teams who will compete in four rounds of poetry per bout (thus enabling each poet from each team to do at least 2 poems in competition at the festival)."

Turns out there'll be a decent pot of gold for the winner...

In lieu of $100 per artist fee, the top three scoring teams will be awarded cash prizes: $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd place, and $400 for 3rd.
