« on: May 05, 2011, 12:14:47 AM »

Even though it's part of the game I think it should be noted that Tatyana finished 4th because of a 7.4 time penalty.

That is certainly the largest this year if not in a long while.

I was scorekeeping at Once Upon A Slam (the Ottawa Story Slam) earlier this year and Festrell went 16 minutes (with a 5 minute time limit).

Her final score was -4.

Epic time penalty. :)

Minor note: I thought I heard Maddie's last name as "Gorman" not "Golman".

She was, by the way, fantastic. Good writing and amazing poise on stage, a really beautiful delivery.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with her? It looks as though she's qualified to compete in the Vancouver Indies Grand Slam.

Yup.  Sorry.  You're right.  It's Maddie Gorman.  I've requested to be her friend on facebook but so far she hasn't accepted.  Not sure if that's on purpose or if she just doesn't check her facebook that often.  But she's on there.

Hey-o, what are the final Summer Season standings? I believe that Julie, Maddie and Anthea (aka Scout) picked up a couple more points at the last chance slam. Very curious to know who is in the Indies Playoffs on September 12th.
