On December 20th, the Vancouver Poetry Slam welcomes as our feature, The Bay area's Lucky Sevan.

'Lucky' Sevan Boult is well known Bay Area poet. Reppin such teams as
2003 Oakland Slam Team (4th in the nation) plus 2004 and 2006. Grand
Slam Champion of 2007 San Francisco team. Berkeley 2005, 2009 and
...2010. 2010 Berkeley slam WOWPS and IWPS rep. She is still working hard!

In 2009, Sevan was coach and grand slam champion of the Berkeley Slam
Team. Earning the title #1 in Team piece finals. A indi finalist and
team runner up at the Southwest Shootout... Sevan and Team Berkeley had a phenomenal year. A writer since childhood, currently working as an after school instructor in her native East Palo Alto, CA.

This will be another regular qualifying slam for a chance to make playoffs and be on the infamous Vancouver Poetry Slam team.

Where: Café Deux Soleils (2096 Commercial Drive)

Doors and Sign up are at 7:00 PM
Open Mic starts at 7:45 PM
Slam starts at 8:00 PM
Cover: $5-10 sliding scale
