"Poetry is ordinary language raised to the Nth power. Poetry is boned with ideas, nerved and blooded with emotions, all held together by the delicate, tough skin of words." – Paul Engle

Our volunteers view heart-wrenching, graphic evidence of torture every day. Material that clearly makes light of animal cruelty or horse slaughter will be immediately discarded. After it's turned over to "the loonie list"; frenzied spammers with whom we otherwise do not network.Application Deadline: 5 pm, August 25th, 2010. Send all applications to: alphamare@horseprotection.infoVisit Horse Protection Canada to view evidence and documentation of horse slaughter, and efforts to end this atrocity. You may sign petitions in support of ending horse slaughter at Sophie's Pet Palace on Commercial Drive, or at any Tisol location. We chose these pet stores because they do not support mills or wild capture. They are very kind to support these petitions.Funds raised go directly to HPC expenses: printing anti-slaughter petitions, delivering and picking up petitions/flyers to pet stores throughout the Lower Mainland, long distance calls, computer expenses, postage. We are new. We are in debt, and have not yet even reached the point we can rescue individual abused or slaughter-bound horses. We do not pay salaries. We are not a registered charity.Thank you for your interest. We hope to meet you soon. For the love of horses,Alpha Mare
