Patrick Swan features at the Last Chance Poetry Slam

On March 15th, The Vancouver Poetry Slam welcomes back, as our feature for the Wild Card Slam, Patrick Swan.

Patrick Swan was born in to small town mediocrity. As a result he is an aesthetically absurd young drunk monument to the excess of pop culture that clouds our future. He drains his boredom from bottles and puts our demons down on paper for all to enjoy uncomfortably.

Patrick is also a two time Canadian National Team Champion and has toured around the country. He wants you to ask him about his tattoos and has more of them than you'd think.

The Wild Card Slam will be the last chance poets will have to qualify for the playoffs. Poets who have already earned points towards a playoff birth but have not qualified yet will be given priority on the stage.

Sign up and Door are at 8 PM
Open Mic starts at 8:45 PM
The Slam starts at 9:00 PM
Cover $5-10 sliding scale
