Dead Poets Slam
Come dressed as your favourite dead poet! Prizes for the best costumes.

Read and perform poems of poets past. This is organized as a poetry slam, and competitors are encouraged to have two poems from their chosen dead poet ready. The audience will give scores and we’ll discover who is the most slammin’ of the deceased bards.

This slam does not count towards qualifying for the slam play-offs.

Sorry I couldn’t be there but I hear quite a few famous poets were raised from the dead. I also heard that my hero, Theodore Seuss Geisel, the doctor of rhymology himself brought down the house with a smokin’ rendition of his timeless classic, “Green Eggs and Ham.” Wish I coulda seen that.
